Premiere meeting at the Kin Center
Premiere David Alward, Minister of Public Safety Robert Trevors, MLA Jake Stewart, was joined by MP Tilly Gordon to meet the public at the Kin Center in the Newcastle Business District of Miramichi City on August 23rd, 2011.
The session was very informative and a positive message from the premier was delivered addressing the financial deficit and how the government appreciates the Miramichi working together with the 1Voice initiative to solving their employment challenges. Having all levels of government working with the business community is a great start to coming up with solutions to improving the economic climate of the Miramichi. A strong representation of healthcare workers from CUPE Local 865 were in attendance expressing their concerns over job security.
